Danette was a co-owner of Shear Pleasure Ltd. since its opening in 1980. She has traveled throughout North America and has become highly skilled in hair cut design, coloring techniques, and perming.

After over thirty years of being a professional stylist, a personal experience changed Danette and inspired her to become a specialist in hair replacement and cranial prostheses. Having a daughter who lost her hair to alopecia areata established a strong desire in Danette to use her career as an outlet to help other women and children with similar hair loss needs. Danette specializes in top quality hair additions and wigs to help cater to all the needs and desires of each of her clients.

Danette is an active member of the International Haircolor Exchange, Look Good Feel Better volunteer, Jeffrey Paul Hair Restoration, Member of the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, Certified in Private Issue by Cyberhair, Certified International Hair Goods and Follea. Danette is trained under many well known artists throughout North America, like Wayne Grund, Pivot Point, and Sam Villa.
